She currently is the RESA North Atlanta Chapter President. In 2012, she was the RESA Atlanta Chapter Board Chair for Marketing & Technology. Amy Powers is an expert in the Metro-Atlanta Home Staging Industry. She has been involved in the staging industry since 2006. She formed the first Georgia (Cherokee County) RESA Chapter and was that Chapter's President from 2008 and into 2009. In January 2013, Amy was elected as the RESA Atlanta (North Metro) Chapter President after serving successfully as the RESA Atlanta Marketing & Technology Chair in 2012. In her RESA Atlanta Chapter role, she helped raise more than $12,000 dollars for the Susan G. Komen 3-day as the Team Leader and Walker. Amy also shares her expertise in Real Estate Staging as an Ezine Expert Article Author and as a staging consultant for the website www.Frontdoor.com. She has trained 100s of Real Estate Agents on the significance and value of professional staging services. She offers 3 CE Credit Hours to Georgia Agents on Real Estate Staging 101. Amy has 20+ years in Theater as an Actress, Director and Set Designer. She has spent the last several years as a high school and middle school drama teacher in a local Cherokee County Co-Op. She uses her skills in set design with her home staging projects alike. It is a fine art to take a set and turn it into a believable environment for telling a story. Home staging is similar, it is the art of taking a home and turning it into a buyer's dream. Last, Amy is a major advocate for helping moms with small children. She has participated in MOPS since 2002 in various roles including Area Coordinator over AL, GA, MS and Europe. She loves how MOPS encourages, equips and develops mothers of preschoolers as they realize their potential as a woman, mother and leader. The impact of MOPS helped build her confidence to start Accent Home Staging, LLC. She currently leads an evening group in Woodstock, GA for all mothers of preschoolers, but more accessible to working and single moms.
