funyhed BATIK (pronounced “funny head“) Batik is a resist dye process that involves applying hot wax to fabric and immersing it in dye. This process can be repeated with multiple layers of wax and dye to create intricate and stunning effects. The fine lines and beautiful crackle details are created by tiny fractures in the wax during the dying process. see also: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batik All batiks are made by hand by Eric Rasmussen and no two are alike.
