Why My Own Room? Our purpose is to help you create a room full of memories for you and your children. Whether you’re an expecting parent with the excitement of preparing a nursery for your newborn, transitioning your toddler to a big kid bed or buying a new bedroom set to match the personality of your maturing child, My Own Room has the variety and knowledge to assist you during these special times. Who We Are? We are a family owned and operated, independent children’s and nursery furniture store and have been serving the Greater Columbus, OH area since 1995. Focusing exclusively on nursery’s and kid’s bedrooms we offer the largest selection of furniture in central Ohio. We choose our manufacturers carefully based on the quality of their product, their safety standards, style and character in order to meet the needs and wants of our consumer. We don’t stop there. In addition to our quality kid’s and nursery furniture, we strive to provide the best customer service we can. We know we’re not perfect, but our priority always remains the same – Satisfied Customers! What We Offer? From newborn baby to a teen getting ready for college, you can outfit your child’s bedroom from floor to ceiling at My Own Room. Our nursery selection consists of 6 of the major nursery furniture manufacturers. Each manufacturer offers traditional cribs which convert to a toddler bed as well as the popular convertible crib which converts to a toddler bed, then out to either a full or queen sized bed to grow with your child. Most cribs come in a variety of finishes and can be complemented by our beautiful case pieces, custom bedding or bedding sets, artwork, lamps and comfortable gliders and rockers with hundreds of fabric choices to rock your baby to sleep. Our youth products range from the basic twin bed, full or double bed, queen bed and king sized bed to your traditional bunk bed and loft bed with stairs, storage, trundles and more. No matter the size of your room or the slope and height of your ceiling we can show you a variety of options that will meet your needs.
